A romantic film adapted from the novel The Ivy Tree by the late Egyptian writer Mohamed Abd El Halim Abd Allah. The events revolve around Hosni (played by Kamal El Shenawy) who suffers from a complex towards women since childhood, making him distrustful of any woman. When he travels to Cairo for study, he meets his neighbor Zainab (played by Zubaida Tharwat) and falls in love with her. But soon his old psychological complex returns.
